Fee Waiver Program
The International Journal of Engineering, Science and Humanities (IJESH) is committed to promoting global research by ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent the publication of high-quality scholarly work. To support researchers from diverse backgrounds, the journal offers a Fee Waiver and Discount Program on Article Processing Charges (APCs).
Eligibility for Waiver/Discount
- Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank).
- Early-career researchers or independent scholars without institutional funding.
- Exceptional manuscripts that demonstrate significant academic or societal impact.
- Authors who are unable to pay due to financial hardship, upon providing valid justification.
Types of Support
- Full Waiver: 100% exemption from APCs in special cases.
- Partial Waiver: Reduction of APCs (up to 50%) based on the author’s circumstances and editorial discretion.
Application Process
- Authors must submit a waiver request letter along with their manuscript or immediately after acceptance.
- The request should include a brief justification for financial need and any supporting documents if applicable.
- The editorial board will review the request confidentially and communicate the decision before publication.
Editorial Discretion
All waiver requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. The decision of the editorial board is final and cannot be appealed. Waivers are limited and granted based on both the author’s need and the merit of the manuscript.
