Peer Review Policy

The International Journal of Engineering, Science and Humanities (IJESH) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality, integrity, and objectivity. Both the reviewer and the author remain anonymous throughout the review process to maintain fairness and impartiality.

Review Process

  1. Initial Screening – All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial team for originality, relevance, formatting, and compliance with the journal’s scope. Submissions not meeting these criteria may be rejected without external review.
  2. Peer Review – Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least two independent experts in the relevant field for evaluation. Reviewers assess the paper’s originality, clarity, methodological rigor, significance, and contribution to existing knowledge.
  3. Decision – Based on reviewers’ feedback, the editor may recommend:
    • Acceptance
    • Minor revision
    • Major revision
    • Rejection
  4. Revisions – Authors are required to revise their manuscripts as per reviewer comments and resubmit within the given timeframe. Revised submissions may be re-evaluated by the reviewers.
  5. Final Decision – The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding acceptance, ensuring that all reviews are considered fairly.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts.
  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

Author Responsibilities

  • Ensure originality and ethical compliance of their work.
  • Address reviewer comments carefully and transparently.
  • Avoid submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.

Commitment to Integrity

IJESH is committed to upholding the ethical standards of scholarly publishing. Any instances of plagiarism, unethical research, or data falsification will result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.
