Communication skills play a vital role in shaping personal, academic, and professional success, with spoken English emerging as one of the most significant tools in today’s globalized world. As English has become the international medium of exchange in education, business, science, and technology, proficiency in spoken English ensures confidence, clarity, and effectiveness in real-time interactions such as interviews, presentations, group discussions, and workplace communication. This paper provides a brief analysis of the importance of communication skills and spoken English, highlighting their role in enhancing employability, leadership, and cross-cultural understanding. It also examines the challenges faced by non-native speakers, including lack of fluency, vocabulary limitations, and fear of public speaking, which often create barriers to growth. By emphasizing the necessity of structured training, practice, and exposure, this study underscores the fact that effective communication and strong spoken English skills are essential assets for success in the 21st century.
